Malinga appointed Sri Lanka bowling strategy coach for Australia T20Is

 Lasith Malinga has been delegated Sri Lanka's bowling system mentor for the five T20Is in Australia beginning from February 11. The previous pacer has filled in as a tutor for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League in 2018.

"Malinga, in his new momentary job as an expert mentor, will uphold Sri Lanka's bowlers, giving strategic understanding and specialized aptitude to help the on-field execution of key plans," Sri Lanka Cricket said in a delivery on Wednesday (January 26). "He was delegated by the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket in meeting with the Technical Advisory Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket. The arrangement is powerful from first to twentieth February 2022."

Malinga played 30 Tests, 226 ODIs and 84 T20Is prior to resigning as an amazing figure in restricted overs cricket. He is one of the four bowlers with in excess of 100 T20I wickets.
