It's 1-0 up for the hosts and they grab 10 crucial points. Chasing 270, Ireland lost Porterfield for naught. Skipper Balbirnie and Tector stitched a crucial partnership but was dismissed in back to back overs. At last 270 looked way too much for this Irish team. Joseph and Shepard bagged three a piece and their fielding standards faced south through out the innings..
