Ashwell Prince resigns as Bangladesh batting coach

Bangladesh batting mentor Ashwell Prince has left his post with quick impact. Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury affirmed the advancement to Cricbuzz on Wednesday (February 9).

"He (Ashwell) has surrendered and we have accepted his renunciation letter," said Nizamuddin. Therefore, Prince won't go with the Bangladesh side for the impending South Africa visit.

Ruler joined Bangladesh last year and despite the fact that he was at first marked uniquely for the series against South Africa, the BCB later chose to broaden his agreement that was intended to run till the T20 WC in Australia this year.

Ruler is the second individual from the Bangladesh training board to quit the set-up after Ottis Gibson as of late chosen to not expand his agreement. It is perceived that the BCB's choice to utilize their recently selected batting advisor Jamie Siddons in the public set-up had an influence behind his choice.
